Enhanced AI Capabilities

This release brings significant updates to our AI-powered features, including support for the latest models and local providers.

Support for Latest Models: Ships with the pre-configured AZD GPT-5.4 Mini provider out of the box, plus support for the latest model families across providers — OpenAI GPT-5.4 (including Pro and Codex variants), Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6 / Sonnet 4.5 / Haiku 4.5, Google Gemini 3 Pro and Flash, and local Ollama models (Llama 4, Qwen 3, DeepSeek R1).

Pipeline Approvals and Validations

Manage pipeline gatekeepers directly from the IDE. You can now view and respond to pending environment approvals and manual validation tasks.

When a pipeline run is blocked, the approvals appear in the build header and the stages list, allowing you to approve or reject with a comment.

Advanced Pipeline Test Insights

The Pipeline test result panel has been overhauled with new features to improve traceability and analysis:

• Sorting and Filtering: Quickly find failed or long-running tests with the new toolbar controls.

• Test Summary: A new header provides a real-time summary of test execution (passed, failed, skipped, and pass percentage).

• Traceability: Seamlessly link automated tests to Azure DevOps test cases.

AI-Powered Log Analysis

Get help diagnosing pipeline failures without leaving the IDE. The new AI chat integration for logs analyzes failed stages and suggests fixes.

PR Metrics Dashboard

A new comprehensive dashboard to track your team's Pull Request metrics and performance.

Improved Navigation and UI

• Timeline Commit Links: Clicking on commit SHAs in the PR timeline now opens the PR details view in the IDE instead of the browser.

• Sort Controls: PR and Pipeline lists now feature a dedicated sort button for easier organization.
